Helping each other through change
Dear Friends,
Well here we are, in September.
I hope you have had a lovely summer. I wonder what you did? Did you get away anywhere nice? Did you get to spend some quality time with your loved ones or had some TLC time for yourself? Whatever you did this summer, I hope you are now well rested.
As we enter into September, we’re entering a brand-new season. A season of changes. Children, young people and young families starting school, college or university for the first time. For many of us change can be unsettling and bit scary.
Although for many of us, we won’t be starting school, college or university. Nevertheless we have all entered into a season of change. Summer will soon turn into Autumn. Nights will soon be closing in and soon some of us will be starting to have that favourite hot cocoa.
Even though changes happen to all of us, for some of us change can be difficult and that’s completely okay.
Maybe through this season, we can be mindful of that. Perhaps we know someone, a neighbour, friend or loved one who finds change especially challenging and just need that bit more help. What if we could be that help? It might be as simple as picking up the phone or popping over for a good old cuppa. Something as simple as that could be just what they need at this time.
Until next time, have a good day.
Yours in Christ,
